In a Heartbeat is a Disney Channel live-action dramatic series which follows the adventures of four high school students who volunteer part-time as EMTs as they strived to balance the responsibility of saving lives with the everyday, adolescent demands of family, friends and school.
In this episode, entitled ‘Hero,’ Jamie’s celebrity status goes to his head after he saves the life of a young boy. Meanwhile, Brooke grows attached to a stray dog.
